Speaking of new yarn, I am digging the yarns from Wool and the Gang. Honestly it is way out of my price range comfort zone but I love the concept. When you order a kit from Wool and the Gang they offer every item as a “knit kit” with all of the materials you need to make your own – from gorgeous rosewood  needles, to yarn in the color of your choice, to easy-to-follow patterns.

Exploding kit

Wool and the Gang seems to have something for everyone including a baby collection inspired by the Pantone Color Institute’s newest color – “Minion Yellow.”  Inspired by the popular characters from “Despicable Me,” the color dovetails nicely with baby knit options from Wool and the Gang and is a perfect, gender-neutral pick for all little princes and princesses.

From sweaters, to blankets, to hats, and more, Wool and the Gang’s baby collection is available as knit kits with all of the supplies a crafty mom needs to make her own or can come “ready made,” handcrafted bya gang of makers from around the world.

Finally, Wool and the Gang offers “Knit Parties” – a great way for groups to get together to learn how to knit. This summer, two exclusive patterns are being offered for anyone looking to host a knit party – the “Knitting Me Softly Necklace” and the “Tender Loving Clutch.” Each item comes in three different difficulty levels, so it’s perfect for those just starting out as well as those who already know their twisted rib from their moss stitch!
