Dear friends! “P” should have been for procrastinate because most of last week, a bit of this week, found me worrying over a paper I had to write for school. If, by the grace of sorta good writing and the research librarian I hit up for help, I manage to get a decent grade, as God as my witness, I will never wait ’til the last-minute to finish what I need to do again!
Until next time.
No for real.
Ahem. Let’s get to it…my stash.
What is it about yarn that makes knitters and crocheters hoard it so? I swear I had every intention on working through my stash and only buying what I needed but then I got this awesome cube deal from IKEA and someone in one of my blogging groups was all, “look at my stash” and then O got all Gollum and this:
So then, here is a look at my stash.
It’s a mess! I have not had time to go through it properly but with my part-time gig ending soon (the school year is thisclose to being over!), I think my Mondays will be dedicated to working through and organizing this mess.
However, I did mange to pull a few skeins off of the shelves to host a quick yarn giveaway.
There are 11 skeins total.
- Four of Red Heart Reflective (two purple, two black)
- One Bernat Boa in Black Burgandy
- Red Heart Easy Tweed in Pistachio
- Basic II Yarn (two in a variegated pink, two in a variegated orange)
- Paramaxx Knitting Yarn in a dark green

I love to crochet!
My favorite hook, G 🙂
I started with crochet! I think I only had a G hook which I liberally borrowed from my sister! (And by liberally borrow I mean I stole it!)
I only know of the G hook LOL I’m still a beginner
I didn’t know you were hooking!! (See what I did there?) Have fun! That G hook will son turn into an H and then a J and then all of the hooks!
Oh jeez, I think a size ten has always been my favorite knitting needle size, but I just recently started using my sixes a lotttt!
I love the bigger needles although I did use tens for my last project.
What a pretty collection of yarn!! I like the K hook for crocheting and the 10 needles for knitting. Thanks for the wonderful giveaway 😀

K hooks have become my favorite; love the (almost) instant gratification of a quick finish to a product.
Favourite needle size I would say 8mm I like big chunky knits!
I love big knits too! That lovely sense of (almost) instant gratification!

I knit and crochet. My favorite hook is size E because it is the first one I ever used.
My favourite hook size is a K, and needle sizes a 10 🙂
The j-10 crochet hook, it’s the first needle my grandma have me when she started showing me how to make blankets
