In the Netflix original series Fuller House, Kimmy Gibbler sports a bacon and eggs scarf. As a bacon and yarn lover, this scarf is everything. The scarf looked familiar and I remembered that it’s from Twinkie Chan’s first book Twinkie Chan’s Crochet Goodies for Fashion Foodies: 20 Yummy Treats to Wear.
Twinkie is back with a new book, Crocheted Abode a la Mode: 20 Yummy Crochet Projects for Your Home. This time she features food-inspired crocheted accessories.
In Crocheted Abode a la Mode, Twinkie unveils twenty new food-themed crochet patterns for crafters to follow as they crochet their living space into a cozier, yummier place. The book is organized according to rooms in your house: kitchen and dining, living and lounging, bath and beauty, and home office.
This book has helpful diagrams, step-by-step instructions, and colorful photos to help crocheters of all skill levels create.
If you aren’t hip to Twinkie, check her out online. Twinkie is an extraordinary crochet designer and craft superstar and her pieces are fun to look at as well as create. Her presence across social is full of gorgeous eye candy and inspiration to create. A quick look on her blog will give you a taste of the funky pieces she makes.
Her new book comes out April 1st and I am excited to see what she has in store! Knowing her style, there are sure to be cute and cozy home decor pieces.
Get hooked and check out Twinkie Chan. But remember…these pieces are ONLY for decoration, not to nosh!
That donut footrest is fantastic! Picture a coffeehouse/book store/yarn shop with these donut ottomans (donuttomans?) scattered amongst the comfy chairs and end tables. I’d wager the pastry and snack purchases would be impressive. 😉
I love Twinkie Chan’s blog! She has some great free patterns. Her first book is awesome, too,
