At the time of this post, there is still one more day left in July and so far I have managed to log in 39 miles this month! I am still behind my goal for the year with only 89 miles logged (I should be at 212 miles by this time) but I am totally counting those 89 miles I have managed so far for 2015 a win.
Planning for August my goal is to bump up my wogs to 2.5 mile to 3 miles. Part of it is because The Bee and I are training for a 5K and she signed up for Fall track so I’d like to support her as much as I could. The other is that my study has upped the exercise requirement to 30 minutes a day, five days a week and I have been busting through my 2 miles and need to stay consistent with the program requirements and keep this exercise habit going.
Can we talk about that for a minute, this exercise habit? I cannot believe it but I have gotten to a point where I look forward to grabbing my sneakers and planning a wog. There are still days when I really want to stay in bed but with Ukee Washington off of the news in the AM, there is no reason to fool around catching the latest Philly news. I used to think people were lying or greatly exaggerating when they waxed poetically about running and working out but I will eat crow and admit that my days are quite a delight after I’ve gone out and moved those muscles.
I think it is awesome that you have committed to staying fit. I know it is not easy to stick to a workout regimen.
It’s the best when you can finally get over the initial slump and really start to enjoy your workout! Hope you can reach your goal!
Keep at it and I am sure you will reach your goal. I need to start my workout routine again. I feel better when I stick to it.
I am so sad that August starts tomorrow. I am going to get back on track with fitness too.
I’m so sad that summer is almost over. I need to get back on track with exercise.
That is great! I so need to get back on the treadmill, I have gotten too lazy!
It looks like you have been doing a great job of staying active. I wish I had the motivation to do something such as that.
Can’t believe it’s August already! Summer went by so quickly and my plans of getting back on the fitness track has quickly gone too. I need to get back into it. Its great you’ve really committed wish I had that in me!
Start slow. Seriously. 15 minutes a day. A meal a time. Soon it will become habit and a way of life.
I can’t say that I enjoy running, but I know that I’ve been doing more of it and it makes me feel better these days.
Wow I think 89 miles is a great accomplishment. Keep working on it girl.
Congratulations for making this habit your own. After 40 days a habit is a habit.
You are doing a good job and I admire you for being committed to look and stay fit. I walk 3 times a week and I hope to increase it to 5 times, if not everyday.
89 miles is AWESOME! And you should be super proud! Heck, I’ve been proud of myself for hitting the gym 3 times a week lol!
