Interview with @TitussBurgess #KimmySchmidt #STreamTeam

You all know how much I am loving Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, Netflix’s original series. I especially love Tituss Burgess, he’s my favorite character (so much so that I started watching 30 Rock so I could see him as D’Fwan). I was really bummed that I had to miss a phone interview with him a few weeks ago. I was able to submit a few questions that were answered by Tituss!

Cynthis Arntzen, who does Netflix’s Original Series Publicity asked my qiestions:

Cynthia Arntzen: How much is Titus Andromedon really Tituss Burgess or vice-versa?

Tituss Burgess: Honestly, I couldn’t be less like Titus. I’m very much an introvert. I don’t like a lot of outside speculations and never even draw attention to myself all that much. I enjoy performing but when people start to pay attention to Titus, itmakes him very nervous and very uncomfortable. So we’re nothing alike.

Cynthia Arntzen: What is your favorite Titus-ism?

Tituss Burgess: First thing is the song – Pinot Noir.

Cynthia Arntzen: What makes Titus with one S unbreakable?

Tituss Burgess: I think it’s all the history behind his outlandish behavior, Titus is extremely intelligent and knows how to navigate everyday life. That is a skill set –particularly for New Yorkers. He excels at it and Titus knows how to get what he wants and a lot of people don’t.
