It’s been a while since I did a Listicle. I could cite a couple of things but that sounds like an excuse and I’m not here for that.
Anywho, so what to do? Create a list and let’s do it.
Earlier this summer you may know that I broke up with my long time boyfriend, one Effin Guy. It was rough, although I seemed to be doing well I had a rough time. I’m doing way better, feeling very good and taking things one day at a time. Instead of hiding away in my home (as is my wont) I got up and got out of my comfort zone and was all having a blast.
So I present to you seven very unlike Rachee things I have done this summer.
1. Wog/workout almost daily and LIKE IT!
This started out as a requirement of that study that I am a part of but have really become a way of life. There are days when I complain and want to quit even before I begin my workout but I have stuck with it and kept it up and damn, do I feel (and look) good!
2. Joined a fitness group and made some new friends!
One day LeAnn and I happened to be at a blogger event and she was like I know you but why? Come to find out we sweat, a lot, and whine (well I do) on Wednesdays during the boot camp I signed up for.
LeAnn blogs at Tinsel and Tine. Check her out for eats and movie reviews.
3. Went to a Phillies game. We almost got there on time.
Seriously, I am not a baseball fan but let me tell you that I was enjoying the game. The fans, the seventh inning stretch, not getting lost going into South Philly. It was oh so awesome.
I have stuck to drinking up to a gallon of water daily and I feel and look great. I am trying to keep it up for the rest of the year.
I feel that way about running. I don’t like it but when I do it consistently I actually kinda enjoy it. Way to step our of your usual zone and do some different stuff!
WOO WOO on working out almost daily & LIKING IT!!! Feels awesome right?!
I have been trying to stick to my schedule and keep my house up! I have been doing okay at it!
Kudos for getting on top of the fitness stuff. I find it more likely to get my exercise in if I am doing it with other people. For me, that’s my husband and older boys.
Way to go for making doing new things! That’s especially hard after a big life change. Congrats on getting into a fitness routine too!
Congratulations on your break-up Rachee! Now you have room in your life for the right person. 🙂 Is that your daughter in the last picture? She’s so pretty!
I played baseball once when I was in 7th grade, I got hurt so bad, I never wanted to play again. The ball hit me on the face and since then I always flinch when someone throws something at me.
