Thoughtful Tuesdays: A Hodge Podge of Things

Say it Rah-shay By Oct 11, 2011 1 Comment

Here are some things that truly deserve a full blog post each BUT I am a lazy cuss having some time management issues and haven’t been able to write about them.

Here goes:
1) It’s Rach-tober!
That means that I am another year older (38 for those of you playing at home!) and its going to be a month of fun stuff! Including a concert, museum visits and some other decadent I don’t treat myself well as often as I should type of things.

2) PaLA left me feeling rejuvenated!
My annual library conference often makes me feel like I should just quit and let a more talented person take my job BUT this year I was really into it, have gotten some great ideas and feel ready to jump in to working again.

3) October is GraNoWriMo aka Graphic Novel Writers Month. If you are not in the mood to write then check out Chew by written by John Layman and illustrated by Rob Guillory. The fourth volume is out and (spoiler alert) Tony is a twin.

4) The Bee and I have found new treats! Udi’s Gluten free treats for her and Sante nuts for me. Yummy!

5) The Bee is working on her Bronze award for scouts. I love the idea of a Busy Boxes, cause well I like stuff but also because really, who PLANS an emergency? These boxes are for children to keep upon a hospital visit. We also like The Joy of Sox because who doesn’t want warm feet?

Ok.
That’s all I can spare for the crappiest post ever.
See you on the morrow when I have wordier wisdoms.
