Beauty and the Beast is my favorite Disney movie.I love the story of Belle, a princess who loves books, The music; I remember buying a cassette and playing and replaying that cassette until it was worn out. And Jerry Orbach (Lenny from Law & Order) played the role of Lumiere the candlestick. II am so excited to share with you all that Beauty and the Beast is returning to Philadelphia!

Disney’s Beauty and The Beast, the smash hit Broadway musical, returns to Philadelphia! Based on the Academy Award-winning animated feature film, this eye-popping spectacle has won the hearts of more than 35 million people worldwide. This classic musical love story is filled with unforgettable characters, lavish sets and costumes, and dazzling production numbers including ‘Be Our Guest’ and the beloved title song.     I would absolutely love to go see Beauty and the Beast live. As a kid I loved seeing the live show at Disney so I can imagine the musical would be amazing!

    I missed this on Broadway sorry to say. I haven’t been able to get down there for a long while now-years actually. The last play I saw was “Wicked” and I loved it.

  6. Actually, Beauty & the Beast IS my all time favorite Disney movie. Mary Poppins is a VERY close second, though.

  7. You’re lucky you can go see this performance! I’m not sure which movie is my fave, but I saw Mary Poppins on Broadway!

  8. That is one of my favorite movies, there is something about it watching people fall in love and knowing it is based on waht it should be – the person not looks, it is amazing.

  9. I would love to see Beauty and the Beast! My favorite Disney Movie is probably Robin Hood. (the animated one with the fox.)

  11. I saw Beauty and the Beast at the Tampa Performing Arts Theater many years ago. I went with my aunts and mom. Great show, so many wonderful memories.

    Disney has so many good movies I don’t have one fav but the one I will always watch no matter what would have to be the Lion King

  20. I would love to see Beauty and Beast live on stage! This has always been one of my favorite animated films and I love the soundtrack from it as well. My boys would love to see this one on stage too.

    These shows come and clothing one week here in Tampa in 8 years haven't had the chance to get my little girls to one.
