The Lansdowne Arts Board has announced the first in a series of exhibitions juried by Bridgette Mayer.
Please join them for the work of Photographer Izaak Schlossman, at the opening reception on Saturday, September 12 from 4pm to 8pm.

About the Artist:
Izaak Schlossman (b. 1987) is an artist living in Philadelphia. He received his BA from UC Santa Cruz, and has shown at the Philadelphia Art Alliance, Pile of Bricks in Kensington, and at the BalletX Benefit Exhibition at the Bridgette Mayer Gallery. Schlossman’s photographs investigate the aesthetic features of the built environment, documenting on ongoing exploration of relationships between the forces that create and alter it. Schlossman has traveled extensively throughout the United States in pursuit of his subject

The Lansdowne Arts Board is pleased to announce a series of juried gallery shows at the newly opened 20*20 House Gallery. The series will highlight the work of eight regional artists over the next two years, providing emerging and established artists the opportunity to present their work in an up-and-coming arts space.
Located just six miles west of Center City, Lansdowne is an historic Borough that is proud of its architecture, its charming, tree-lined streets, and its long-standing focus on cultivating creative community. The Lansdowne Arts Board is dedicated to bringing artists of all career stages into the community to help develop Lansdowne as a leading center for artistic living. The 20*20 House is the new venue to launch this mission, featuring a beautiful first floor gallery with natural light and original architectural details. A residency program with spacious studios are planned for the upper levels of the building, and the basement will host a printmaking facility.
