In which podcasts are my background music.

After watching Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, I was on a mission to know all things Kimmy. I did a search on the Stitcher app (my golly do I love that Stitcher app) and found a few podcasts that have me hooked.

NPR’s Pop Culture Happy Hour

pchh

This podcast is hosted by Linda Holmes who blogs at Monkey See and it’s full of fun pop culture references that I get!  It’s full of fun conversations about movies, books, TV and more. I love that the group of panelists aren’t too lofty to just enjoy sharing their pop culture loves. They share, they love and it’s a great way to spend an hour.

Overdue

In full disclosure I have only listened to one podcast but the one I listened to was so much fun! The podcast I listened to was a discussion about Little House on the Praire with guest Margaret H. Willson and there was a great chat about native Americans, Ma and Pa Wilder and how much of the prairie story was real and how much took creative license.

I can’t wait to listen to more episodes. There were a few titles I never heard of but many that I had. I am excited to catch up with some books and hear their thoughts, which are quite entertaining.

Wait, Wait…Don’t Tell Me!

Each week a diverse panel of hosts, comedians, actors, writers, pundits tests your knowledge of news and current events. Hosted by Peter Sagal, Wait, Wait is a fun way to stay current with news items and hear quirky obscure stories.

Cordkillers

It’s like someone found all of the shows that I love to watch and created a podcast about them. There are spoilers, which I am strangly OK with. I either stop the audio or wait until I watch then listen to them to hear if their analysis is like mine.

There are a few others that I listen to but wanted to share the ones that help me get my shelves in order. Tell me, what are YOUR favorite podcasts? Any I should add?
