November is Scarfvember: 30 Days, 30 Ways #30DayScarfChallenge

Say it Rah-shay By Oct 30, 2013 22 Comments

My friend, Pam (The Unconcentional Librarian) has unwittingly enabled my scarf and yarn addiction with a challenge that she posted beginning November, called Scarfvember. For the month of November she challenged a bunch of us to wear scarves daily for the month of November. She hinted at a book prize and as I said earlier, I sort of have an addiction to scarves.

You can read her post about it and then join in!

Wanna play? Here’s what you do:

  • Wear a scarf every day in November
  • Snap a picture and post it on Instagram
  • Hashtag it #30dayscarfchallenge
  • Instagram it (tag me @Pamlovesbook)
  • Link it up (optional)
  • Must wear a scarf every single day to qualify (super secret book prize)
  • Show us your scarf style and how you ROCK A SCARF!

Here’s a preview of one of the scarves I may rock next month:

Stay tuned for daily scarf pics and me clearing out my Ravelry cue.

Wrapping uo,

  1. That’s a cute idea. I only have 2 or 3 scarves, so I wouldn’t have enough, but I love this idea of this!

  2. Such a great idea! I really love the one pictured!

  3. Karen says:

Its a little too warm still for scarves here but its a cute idea

  4. Sarah Bailey says:

Now that sounds like fun – does it have to be a different scarf everyday or just a different way of wearing one? x

  5. I love scarves and have been adding to my collection. While I would love to participate in this challenge, I am in Florida and it is in the upper 80’s, I would look silly and be overly warm. Maybe if it were January.

  6. I love the scarf you planned to wear. I can’t wait to see some of your other scarfs.

  7. Nicole A. says:

I love scarves, I just don’t wear them much. I only own one and it’s for snow. I don’t get snow where I live now so I never need to wear it.

  8. So you made that beautiful scarf yourself? No wonder you want to join into this great fun challenge. Can’t wait to see the other scarves you make.

    I don’t have instagram so I am out….. I don’t have enough scarves anyway.

  9. Pam says:

Great idea! Sounds like a lot of fun for those that enjoy wearing scarves. I don’t even have one scarf to my name. 🙁

  10. Amanda says:

What a great challenge! I love scarves and wear them all winter.

  14. That’s a beautiful scarf although with my job I won’t be able to take up this challenge. Good luck with the challenge though. Rock that scarf!

Scarves are a fabulous “must” for this season. Enjoy your challenge – be creative! Good luck

  16. Annemarie says:

What a great idea I love scarfs. My Mom always told me if you wear a scarf you will avoid a cold, so I wear them often.

  17. Le-an Lacaba says:

My mom has a LOT of scarves, but I know she wouldn’t mind another one. Good luck with your challenge!

  18. I have 2 scarves that I purchased last year from a friend. She knitted them. They are lovely but not sure I could find 30 wears to wear them. Now I’m curious.

  19. Amiyrah says:

I’m so stinking excited about scarfvember. I’m going to be doing a lot of traveling this month, so it should be interesting to see if I can keep it up.

  20. Michelle H says:

I want so badly to be a scarf wearer. I’m excited to see what you come up with this week.
