The Cat in the Hat by Dr. Seuss

From Amazon: Poor Dick and Sally. It’s cold and wet and they’re stuck in the house with nothing to do . . . until a giant cat in a hat shows up, transforming the dull day into a madcap adventure and almost wrecking the place in the process!

You all know how I feel about Dr. Seuss (I don’t love him) but I would be remiss if I did not include this title for National Hat Day. I feel that this particular title is way too long to share with younger listeners but older kids may enjoy Dick and Sally and the antics of The Cat.
