#MondayListicles Are Quite the Character

mondaylisticles

This week we are talking characters (Insert your own joke here).

I deferred this list to my teen this week as she has been voraciously reading books all week.  Lately when she has free time she has been curled up somewhere with her nose stuck into a book or scribbling in a notebook.

No longer does the librarian’s child have no books!

*wipes tear*

Favorite character from books

1. Katniss Everdeen (from The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins
Because she is really strong and courageous. Like me.

2. Abby (from The List by Siohban Vivian)
She reminds me of one of my friends

3. Lina (from The City of Ember (Books of Ember)
by Jeanne Duprau)
I like characters that remind me of myself. She likes to run and so do I.

4. Katrina Bishop (from Heist Society by Ally Carter)
She’s cool

5. Jade (from The Dead and Buried
She’s epic

6. Jessica from Cemetery Village
I just do!

7. Melissa from [Insert Text Here]. Full disclosure. This is the novel that The Bee is writing but I say go for it.

8. Arya Stark from A Clash of Kings (HBO Tie-in Edition): A Song of Ice and Fire: Book Two
We have been listening to this book during drives and The Bee, while thinking some of the events in the book are “Terrible!” thinks Arya is a “boss.”

**At this point she decided that eight was enough so I took over the list**
9. Will Trent from The Will Trent Series 5-Book Bundle: Triptych, Fractured, Undone, Broken, Fallen
Poor, damaged, functionally illiterate Will.
I’ll treat you better than Angie ever would although I draw the line at murder.

10. Tyrion Lannister (also from the song of Ice and Fire series)
What a badass!
The television show doesn’t do him justice! Tyrion rules with his sly cunning, his scheming, his plans.
Oh yes!

So.
Who are your favorites?

Next week (tomorrow!) we are going to talk about why Listicles Rock. Join me!
