The very first time The Bee and I read Click, Clack, Moo: Cows That Type was on a suggestion from the library we often visited. The Bee loved the book so much that I bought a copy and we read it until it fell apart. When she was in second grade her class put on a play, complete with props that they designed and there was a chorus of “Click, Clack Moos” that still make me smile as I remember it.
Now the professional touring company Theaterworks USA brings Click, Clack, Moo to the stage on April 12, as a musical!
From the Upper Darby Performing Arts Center:
A hilariously “moo-ving” musical about compromise, based on the award-winning book by Doreen Cronin and Betsy Lewin. The show is directed by John Rando (Tony Award- winner for Broadway’s Urinetown). “Click, Clack, Moo” received Lucille Lortel Award nominations for “Outstanding Musical” and “Outstanding Choreography,” and a Drama Desk nomination for “Outstanding Lyrics.”
