#CatchitAll NOW At @BestBuy @BestBuyWOLF #ad

March Madness is upon us. For most people this means basketball brackets and sweet sixteen but for my family it means the return of track season. With the return of track season this means practice a few nights during the week and then meets all day Saturday and some Sundays. Toss in a long work week, homework, extra curricular activities, and blogging, and The Bee and I are always on the go!

Track practice is about an hour and for that I can either walk the track while waiting or catch up on some work things but meets are a different animal. There is a lot of hurry up and wait. We hurry to get to the meet at a really early hour for The Bee to warm up and then we wait, wait, and wait between races for her heats. Yes, we can catch up with friends, but I mean this is a long wait so to pass some time I can catch up on a favorite show.

With the option to stream some television and movies, I can keep up with some of my favorite shows. Yes, I am library chick but I love, love, love me some television. Like I seriously love spending time lost in a sitcom or caught up in the drama of a, uh, drama. At home I got rid of cable and opt to stream the shows I watch in an effort to control what I am watching. On the go, I can stream using my phone, stay caught up with the shenanigans of my favorite characters and still control the amount of television I am viewing.

I usually have a book with me where ever I go, that way if I get in a spot where I have to wait for something, I can read.
I remember those days waiting for my Daughter to get out of track.

  2. I always have my phone with me and I connect via social media, but I also have to have my kindle on hand. I love reading when I am on the go and have some down time.

  3. I don’t know anything about March Madness, but I always have my iPhone with me so that my boys can watch something on Netflix if we are waiting for something and I need to keep them entertained.

  4. Rosey says:

My husband has his iPad up and running to check scores, and his computer up and running right next to it, doing his homework. 😉 I like to catch up on reading at layover destinations.

  5. I feel like basketball is everywhere in our home right now. Where would be be without sports and the technology to keep up with them today.

  6. I'm always just surfing facebook or texting when I'm waiting for long periods of time

  7. Erica says:

I watch a lot of shows that my husband doesn’t really enjoy on my iPad so the TV doesn’t keep him awake at night. I love being able to watch my favorite shows on the go on that or my iPhone.

My brother likes basketball. I think thats how he keeps up to date.

I love March Madness and everything that goes along with it. I have sons and a husband and they are all obsessed with it.

  17. As for me, just browsing my phone – netting is a good way to pass some time – or maybe going to a bookstore or two.

  18. Melanie says:

We don’t watch anything on the go really. We aren’t that attached to the net or tv enough to look further into carrying it around on the phones, but I know plenty who do and love it

  19. Amanda says:

We love Netflix! 🙂 As far as March Madness goes….our house is all College Basketball ALL the time! But that’s what happens when your hubs works for the NCAA. 🙂

I don’t have a smart phone, but I take my tablet along. I have enough games on there to keep me busy!

  21. Katie says:

ha! we are generally all about March Madness (I am in the heart country), but with UNC and Duke out, not so much this year. When I am at the gym, I so watch The Real Housewives of…well, just about anywhere, to make the elliptical a little more entertaining.

  22. Theresa says:

I usually take a book with me, or I will download a movie onto my iPad for long layovers. It sure does help pass the time!

  23. Katherine G says:

I like to watch shows like Touch and Bones on Netflix, catch up on Chicago fire, and parenthood on my nbc app
