Blog Hop: Sunday Confessions: What Do You Love Most About Reading?

Say it Rah-shay By Feb 13, 2011 1 Comment

The inspiration from this post comes from Marcie at To Read or Not to Read. Each Sunday she posts a question in the hopes to learn more about her readers and to also share information with readers about herself./

This week’s question:
What do you love most about reading?

For me reading is a way to escape. Sometimes I just want to leave the life that is Rachee and experience the life of a teenaged wizard or a world in which reading a book aloud will literally make it come alive. Sometimes I just want to think about someone other than myself and books allow me this power. I love the way authors weave words together, creating phrases that make me laugh or nod my head in agreement. Reading with The Bee is also a time where we put the world away and slowly and quietly end our day. Each evening that we read together I get to share with her a special time that may be lost in our hurry up and go lives.

What day you Friends?
What do YOU Love about reading?

I always say, for me, reading is like watching movies. Some are addicted to the TV screen. Books are movies on paper, and with sooo much more detail. I have already read close to 100 books this year. I will read almost anything, literally. Great subject!
