r’s note: I was sent samples of items from Alexis Krystina’s Crafts to facilitate my review. All opinions are my own.
An old co-worker used to share handmade cards each year for the holidays. It would be something glittery and fine but handmade and lovely. When I remember, I am more of a miscellaneous box type of chick and that’s OK but there is nothing like a handmade something to make one feel special. With Alexis Krystina Crafts, you will not only get handmade items, but festive decorative items to add a bit of an extra flair to your items or to decorate your home.
Alexis sent me a sample of gift tags and a card and the items were wrapped in a lovely tissue paper. A handwritten note was included which was a lovely touch.
The card is a cute die cut of Santa with a small area to personalize it with a season’s greeting. The description of this card from her site notes that the photo mat, Merry Christmas greeting, and the Santa are all raised off of the card to give a 3D effect. The white part of the Santa is made using shimmer card stock and the stocking embellishment has different glittered variations to make each card unique.
Also included were a sample of six of the gift tags available from her store. The tags add an extra flair to a package or are unique enough to add decoration around your home. Among the tags sent to me were a Glitter Christmas Lights Tags – All is Bright Quote with Red Glitter and Light String Embellishment, Frozen Inspired Holiday Gift Tags with Blue Gem and Pearl Rhinestones, and 15 Christmas Light Gift Tags. Each tag is handmade with high quality card stock, shimmer card stock, light string embellishment and ribbon.
