Someone on Twitter reminded me that Christmas is less than 18 days away and I am not even close to being ready. In spite of my best efforts to plan ahead, I find myself behind in crafting, busy at work, meeting deadlines for my kid and in general being pulled into so many different directions that I am ready to cancel good tidings and cheer. Since that is really not an option I decided to be smart and use things to make my holiday easier.

FREESTOREPICKUP-Sears

I was so relieved to learn that Kmart and Sears are offering $10 back in points when you spend $59 and free in store pickup. So you can shop from the comfort of your home, browsing hundreds of gifts online, and pick up your items store in 5 minutes guaranteed (or whenever you’re ready). With in store pickup you’ll avoid lines, busy stores and time wasted walking down every aisle. The bow on top: You can have a friend or relative pick up your order and pay in store with cash, if you prefer.

Kmart Free Store PickupStart your shopping by visiting and Kmart online.

Take advantage of these deals between now through to Tuesday 12/10/13 at 9AM CT.

The In-store event is today only, Sunday, 12/8/13

Now it’s no question that you should do your holiday shopping at Sears and Kmart while earning more points and try the free in store pickup at Sears or Kmart but there’s now a question of, what will you do with more free time over the holidays and your extra points?  A few ideas include: give yourself a gift using your points before volunteering at a shelter, making gingerbread houses with the kids or simply putting your feet up and enjoying the view of the Christmas tree. With my extra time I plan to finish the handmade items I had commissioned from friends and actually decorate my house. How about you?

It’s your turn to Say it Rah-shay! Let me know what you plan to do with your extra time in the comments.

Happy shopping and have fun!
