Soundtrack for April as Money Management month

or its alias: Financial Management Month.
I will not discuss my own follies with money; it’s far too distressing to talk about. When I realize that I will be working for the next thirty years in an effort not to end up as the cat lady, with Baby Jane eyebrows, smelling like a mixture of tuna and bad breath and visiting the bank daily to ask for my balance so that I have something to do I get a few a bit verklept (breathing deeply into a paper bag…I’m back now).
Instead of trying to provide advice, I am going to defer to the experts: Suze, Michelle and Jean.
Here is my contribution to Financial matters
Songs about money. Most of these I have on the iPod. Some I cannibalized from a few friends.

Donna Summer: She Works Hard for the Money
(’cause dammit, I do!)

ABBA: Money, Money, Money
I work all night, I work all day, to pay the bills I have to pay
Ain’t it sad…
And still there never seems to be a single penny left for me
That’s too bad

The Steve Miller Band: Take the Money and Run

Bare Naked Ladies: If I Had a Million Dollars
Barrett Strong’s Money (That’s What I Want):
Yeah, yeah. The best things in life MAY be free but you can stuff it. I Need Money. That’s what I want!

Destiny Child: Bills, Bills, Bills:
Do you pay my bills?
Do you pay my automobile?
Do you pay my telephone bill?
Do you wanna?

Gwen Stfani: Rich Girl: If I were a rich girl…

This is all I can think of.
More later.
Spending wisely,
