Soundtrack for an E-A-G-L-E-S EAGLES!!! Victory!

Like most of the Philly natives, I have a love/hate relationship with my sports teams. I don’t care much for basketball (who is playing for the Sixers now?), hockey and baseball (didn’t the Phillies just win something big?) are just shy of my peripheral vision but football?
Sigh!

Are you ready for some?

Like most natives, I have my superstitions:

I cannot watch the game if the Eagles are up in the first half. Every time I have tuned in to watch the game in which the Eagles were winning before the second half they inevitably lost. If the Eagles are losing before I tune in, then I can watch without fear.

My one friend refuses to watch the game no matter what the score. She can listen all she desires but if she tunes in, no victory. Another friend insists that he has to eat hot chips, drink warm Pepsi (eww) and inhale a hot dog during the game.

Yeah.

Philadelphia Sports fans have some issues.

Soundtrack for the road to the Superbowl:

Queen’s We Will Rock You
DMX: It’s On
Wings: Live and Let Die
Calling All Angels by Train (let’s face it, the Eagles sometimes need some help)
Tear the Roof of the Sucka!: Turn this mother out!

For Arizona and their fans:
Melissa Manchester’s Don’t Cry Out Loud (Just keep it inside)
Alicia Keys and Jack White’s Another Way to Die

What songs can you add?
Let the trash talk begin!

Why were you still up at 3:34? The Eagles only have two good games and they used it last week and against the Cowboys.

    Cowboys rule.

Don’t hate, your crooked Cowgirls are home playing with their dolls, doing their nails and crying.
