Second Annual Knitting and Crochet Blog Week

Say it Rah-shay By Mar 28, 2011 No Comments

In addition to my ahem, regular blogging, I’m taking part in the second annual The Knitting and Crochet Blog Week which will run from Monday 28th March – 3rd April 2011.

From Eskimimi’s blog:
Announcing the 2nd Annual Knitting and Crochet Blog Week.

Knitting and Crochet Blog Week 2011 will run from 28th March to 3rd April 2011 in a week of fibre-arts related posts and events which will see many members of the knitting and crochet community worldwide blog daily together on the same subjects and topics.

Knitting and Crochet Blog week consists of seven daily topics, each to be posted on a given day. The topics are merely starting points for your writing – feel free to use them as jumping points and take the ideas in whichever direction you fancy in your blog posts.

What is Knitting and Crochet Blog Week?

This is a week of blogging for knitters and crocheters, where individual bloggers will all simultaneously post about the same topics over the course of seven days, so that for one week readers might be able to read from blog to blog and enjoy a community of bloggers all talking about elements of their craft in their own unique way.

How do I take part?

It’s quite simple. Every day between 28th March – 3rd April 2010 there will be a blogging topic (relating to knitting and crochet) asking for your experiences, opinions and hopes on various aspects of your hobby, one topic and a short explanation is provided for each day, plus a ‘wildcard’ topic in case you just don’t fancy one of the blogging topics for any particular day.
