Last week Effin Guy, The Bee, Dill and I were invited to see Potted Potter – The Unauthorized Harry Experience – A Parody by Dan and Jeff at the Prince Music Theater and it was a hoot!
The show we saw featured Del and James Del who were delightful in engaging the audience, sharing the books and keeping the excitement of the shows going. nd Jeff who hit the highlights of the seven Harry Potter books in just over an hour. It was fun, it was silly and a must see for all Potter fans! Even if you are not a Potter fan what a great way to spend an evening. The pair did a fantastic job hitting highs from the books and movies and just getting the audience involved in the magical world of Harry Potter.
POTTED POTTER – The Unauthorized Harry Experience – A Parody by Dan and Jeff an Olivier Award nominated show and takes on the ultimate challenge of condensing all seven Harry Potter books (and a real – YES- life game of Quidditch) into seventy hilarious minutes. Even if you don’t know the difference between a horcrux and a Hufflepuff, POTTED POTTER will make you roar with laughter.
Created by two-time Olivier Award-nominated actors Daniel Clarkson and Jefferson Turner, Potted Potter is perfect for ages six to Dumbledore (who is very old indeed).

This sounds awesome. I am a huge Harry Potter fan, so I would totally go see this. I wonder if it will come to Boston anytime soon?
Such fun experience. Sounds good. I tend to love watching Parodies myself!
We love Harry Potter in our home so we would love to attend these shows. It sounds like it is really family friendly.
I have never seen Harry Potter but this would be great for Harry Potter fans.
well….not actually a fan. seen a couple movies but can't quite get into it…..turns me off to reading the books, sorry
sounds like a lot of fun! I’ve never been able to get into the Harry Potter movies, but this sounds fun.
I am not a big Harry Potter fan but I did see some of the movies. The special effects were great.
LOL my Daughter and Grandkids tried to get me to read the Harry Potter books. Sorry… I just couldn’t get into it.
I’m sure I’ve heard of this before – I love the books and the movies are so it would definitely be interested to see what it was like. x
I absolutely LOVE the books. I was such a HP book nerd. And my kids absolutely love them too!
We read all the books and have seen the movies so we would love to see the parody too.
We have never seen any of the movies or read the books. It was taught to my oldest son in pre-k that it was not an okay book to read and he never would. It is crazy the things that stick with you even if mom says it is okay.
I’m a big Harry Potter fan having seen all the movies and read all the books. I made sure to read the books before seeing the movies though. Sounds like a great experience. I would love to see the parody.
My mom loves Harry Potter. I have not watched any of the movies.
That sounds very entertaining how they can squeeze all of that into 70 minutes! I wanna see 😛
I have never seen a movie or read a book regarding Harry Potter. I guess that is my loss but this looks like it would be great for those that follow.
I am not a fan. I have never read one of the books or watched a movie. My son's GF has tried to get me to watch one, but I am not a fantasy fan. She seems to enjoy the whole Harry Potter genre very much.
I haven’t read the entire series, but both of my kids have. I think they’d really get a kick out of that!
My sister would love this! I didn’t do the whole Harry Potter thing. I thought I was the only one in the world, but I see other comments from others that didn’t do Harry Potter either. However like I said, my sister is a HUGE fan!
i haven’t watched all the movies but the ones i hvae were pretty good.
I have not seen all the movies but I have played the video games and they are fun.
This looks hilarious!!! I wish I was close by so I could watch it. Maybe they will have an on-screen version at some point??
Awww my kids are BIGGG Harry Potter fans, this would be soo cool.. thanks for sharing, will have to tell them
Would be interesting to see the show, I cannot say I am a huge Harry Potter fan, but there is something that kids love and enjoy. Even reading would benefit them too.
