4. I went clubbing!
A college friend and I recently reconnected and it’s been all, “Let’s hang” and instead of saying, “No” and staying home to binge watch Futurama on Netflix I have been being social.
5. Storytelleing for National Night Out.
Yes, I tell stories at work all day but for this, it was outside. In Upper Darby in front of a crowd of people I had never met!
6. I was social (well, for me).
Each year I promise myself that I will take advantage of what the city has to offer in terms of outdoor activities and events. This year I did it! Instead of moping in the house I got up and got out and sometimes I talked to people.
Seriously, for someone with such a social job I can get a little anxious when I have to interact with folks. I have been making myself stop over thinking it and just enjoying the experience. I am, however, awfully awkward so I may abruptly end the conversation, wave from across the room and not join you or make a sound that sounds like a yelp in lieu of actual words.
7. I took the subway alone in New York!
I have terrible travel anxiety, whether it’s for the day, a week or overnight. This summer I traveled solo, with The Bee, with my sister and lived to tell the tale! I was in New York an awful lot and even took the subway! I have a Metro Card and only got lost once.

I have stuck to drinking up to a gallon of water daily and I feel and look great. I am trying to keep it up for the rest of the year.
I feel that way about running. I don’t like it but when I do it consistently I actually kinda enjoy it. Way to step our of your usual zone and do some different stuff!
WOO WOO on working out almost daily & LIKING IT!!! Feels awesome right?!
I have been trying to stick to my schedule and keep my house up! I have been doing okay at it!
Kudos for getting on top of the fitness stuff. I find it more likely to get my exercise in if I am doing it with other people. For me, that’s my husband and older boys.
Way to go for making doing new things! That’s especially hard after a big life change. Congrats on getting into a fitness routine too!
Congratulations on your break-up Rachee! Now you have room in your life for the right person. 🙂 Is that your daughter in the last picture? She’s so pretty!
I played baseball once when I was in 7th grade, I got hurt so bad, I never wanted to play again. The ball hit me on the face and since then I always flinch when someone throws something at me.
