Grand Opening at Bonefish Grill Wilmington Greets Community with Fresh Seafood, Philanthropy

Bonefish Grill Wilmington, located at 4737 Concord Pike in the Concord Mall, opened its doors Monday following a ribbon cutting with New Castle County Chamber members, Bonefish Grill Regional Vice President Jeff Heath, Bonefish Grill Managing Partner Jason Farley, Bonefish Grill Joint Venture Partner Michael McMann and Bonefish Grill team members. The next day, patrons and supporters of the Children’s Beach House enjoyed restaurant favorites, refreshing cocktails, and spectacular ambiance and music, all for a great cause. Fifty percent of the entire day’s proceeds were donated to the local non-profit organization, which supports various programs that serve children with disabilities in the area. Bonefish Grill patrons helped to raise $5,000 for the organization.

“We are very excited to introduce Bonefish Grill to the great state of Delaware,” said Jason Farley, managing partner of the new restaurant. “This has been a wonderful experience, during which we’ve had the opportunity to work with dedicated community members. We look forward to welcoming all of Wilmington through our doors in the coming weeks. I’m extremely proud to bring fresh seafood and excellent service to the area where I was born and raised.”

Voted #1 in pleasant, friendly service in the 2013 Technomic Consumer Choice Awards, Bonefish Grill’s “Fresh Fish Experts” bring wood-grilled fish, seafood and a selection of chicken and steak options, innovative sauces and indulgent desserts to the Wilmington community. The 5,900-square-foot Wilmington restaurant features a new modern interior design highlighted by clean, contemporary lines blending warm, earthy color tones, golden hardwood accents, natural materials and wood flooring. A spacious dining room with an open kitchen and a large, energetic bar area that includes a mixed seating area with a communal table is inviting to guests. Unique ambient hand-blown glass light fixtures, dramatic accent lighting, and cylindrical sconces etched with representations of mangrove trees complete the space.
