Getting arty!

Paige Wolf and the Queen Art Center had a sneak peek for bloggers and last Saturday I headed on down to where the hippies meet to check out the new space.   The Bee wasn’t able to go but I checked out the space hoping to discover a new place for The Bee to develop her joy of art.

Located at 514 Bainbridge Street, the Queen Art Center is a block away from South Street and the new space is huge, open and quite beautiful. They offer weekly classes, series of classes, activities and camps and the prices are not so outrageous; the one time only classes would be the perfect way to treat yourself! There is even a birthday party package available!

Below are are a few pictures from the event. Like what you see? Then check out the grand opening on Sunday, November 13th. All are welcome. There will be make-n-take art for adults and kids, music making for young children, studio tours, face painting, Philly food trucks, student art exhibitions, and more!
