I’ve never been to Cold Stone Creamery. There is one near a Borders that my family frequents but usually I am with The Bee and it just seems cruel to get ice cream when she can’t have it. I never thought much about going; Wawa sells Haagen Daaz and that is usually enough. Well it was enough until last night when Effin’ Guy and I visited Cold Stone and I had a mouthgasm!
Mmmmm! Ice Cream!
I went with the Oreo Overload. Sweet Cream Ice Cream, chocolate chips, Oreo cookies and chocolate sauce. Even as I ordered I told Effin’ Guy that I WOULD NOT complain about being fat and just enjoy the ice cream and I did. The ice cream was smooth and creamy and lingered on my tongue before sliding down my throat. The waffle bowls were a crispy fudge dipped affair with a great crunch a cinnamon flavor. Effin Guy went with mint ice cream and white chocolate chips. He choose a waffle cone laced with rainbow sprinkles that sounds busy but was wonderful.
The staff were OK. They seemed put off that there were customers so close to closing (we arrived at 9:30 and they close at 10PM) but there were no shenanigans or foolishness with our orders.
I can’t wait to return! Due to the richness as well as the sheer amount of candy for my treat alone this will definitely be a sometime treat but I will savor it as I did last night upon returning.
