In which I wonder if I would be more creative and productive if I had a better work space.
When The Bee and I moved last September, I had visions of things coming all together. I would finally be organized! Things where I wanted and no excuses. In reality the move hasn’t made a difference in how I work and the desk that I purchased to get my butt in gear is buried under piles of paper, yarn and other things that I can’t bring myself to part with yet. Instead of a professional work area, I do have a comfy looking couch to sit on and it is able to accommodate me, The Bee and Liliana, our wayward cat, who likes to snuggle on my arm as I type. In spite of all of my ‘professional tools’ I find that I get more bang for my buck perched on the last square of my couch, pretzel legged on the floor with my papers and folders spread around me and the TV on for background noise.
Wow! My house USED to look like this!
Getting my groove on,

I am writing as a part of a blogging boot camp on Calliope’s Creating Motherhood blog.
I have a desk that I use, but now that I work from home I have a new laptop and haves moved to the kitchen table. I feel way more productive and not so cramped. Granted, I could go all Virginia and think I need a room of my own (which I do), but I’ll take the table.
