PaLA Conference: Author Selfies

Say it Rah-shay By Oct 21, 2013 20 Comments

It’s time for the annual Pennsylvania Library Conference and the venue for the conference is absolutely beautiful. We are at the Seven Springs Resort and there is a mountain outside of my room. Wow

Today I was able to met several of the authors who presented on panels (put together by my friend Karl) and I was able to get all fan girl.

Here are a few selfiies:
Me with A. S. King. She was the winner of the Carolyn Fields awards for her book Ask the Passengers. She also write Please Excuse Vera Dietz and her newest is Reality Boy (I read it in two days. Two because I had left the book home and wants able to go home before I headed to The second gig)

I love meeting authors. They are my rock stars.
I’m going to curl up with a good book, look over my notes and dream of library programs and other fantastical library things.
