The sweater that never was….
Whatever happened to your __________?
Write about the fate of a past knitting/crochet project. Whether it be something that you crocheted or knitted for yourself or to give to another person. An item that lives with you or something which you sent off to charity.
I have been trying to make The Bee a sweatwer for years. I will buy the yarn (easy), gather the materials and with good intentions begin. I’ll get the back of the project crocheted, start the front and then…stop. I am not sure why I can’t bring myself to finish. I just don’t! She has given up asking for things other than hats and scarves but I’d like to give some type of top another try. I find that when I relax (it IS supposed to be a relaxing craft!) and stop thinking about it I get it done.
Whatever the case, I am going to give another huge project a go and see what happens.
Other yarnthings lost, but not forgotten:
Arboo’s Amazon: SHe has taken to handing me a hook and asking me to just finish it please!
Dewey Decimal Dude’s Harry Potter Scarf: We are working a presentation for October. I am compelled to get it done.
Book Woman’s Fingerless gloves: I may just have to reimburse her for the yarn cause, uh…yeah. That bad!
I’ve got a lot to catch up on!
