On the Hooks: Tangled Tuesday

Say it Rah-shay By Sep 20, 2011 1 Comment

My sister, mrsrkfj, has started a link up for crochet and knitting types to share what they are doing called Tangled Tuesdays.  Stop by and share links for the yarnthings on your hooks and or needles.

Today I am determined to finish up the cowl that I have been futzing around with. It’s been on the hooks for a good week or so and quite honestly I have been allowing myself to be distracted from working on it. It’s so easy to work up (double and single crochet) that I keep procrastinating. I think a good focused few hours and I will be done.

The pattern is the Yorkshire Cowl from the Lion Brand web site and I am using Thick and Quick to get it finished. But it seems I forgot all about the quick part!

I’m not gonna lie…I still have several UFOs that need to be addressed but I love this Beret pattern I found. I’m all about the slouchy hats. I never heard of this Marguerite stitch but I’m willing to give it a go.

I’ve also been thinking of dusting off my needles and trying my hands at knit and purl stitch. Maybe whip up one of those boxy hats (yes, it’s always a hat!).

What’s on your hooks and needles? Stop by And Starring As Herself…MRSRKFJ and let us know!

Getting hooked,
