My Facebook memories show a Rachee who consistently made working out a priority. At the time, I was in the midst of the weight loss study so the incentive to report my workouts to my group members encouraged me. I can honestly say that even though I know the real deal, you can’t outrun a bad diet, I allowed myself to believe that by running a certain amount of miles I could eat all of the crap that I wanted.
In a world…
Since combining homes with The Librarian, I have found that while my workouts have come to a stop, making better nutritional choices have not been so difficult. We have made home cooking a priority and in doing so we have discovered that there are many gaps in the nutritional value of our meals. It’s really amazing at how much we have learned just reading, participating in cooking classes and exploring the herbs that live in our kitchen. I am fortunate to have a family who have agreed to join me on this journey. It’s been enlightening to realize that eating a rich nutritional meal does not mean that we have to go broke or create recipes that are, well, awful!
There are times when we struggle with making the best nutritional choices so luckily I don’t have to do it alone. With my partner MegaFood™, I can supplement the yummy meals my family and I have been making with a multivitamin designed with my specific needs in mind.
I have teamed up with MegaFood to take a pledge to close my nutritional gap to help cure nutritional poverty and I invite you to take the pledge as well!
