Halloween Crochet Hat Roundup

Last week I tested a hat for Sissy, the owner of Warm Fuzzy Boutique. It was a Jack Skellington, he of “The Nightmare Before Christmas” Fame. The Bee, of course, immediately claimed the hat and then suggested I make some more for her the kids at the library and a kid who lives on our block.  At the same time, we got a new picture book about hats, “Hooray for Hat!” by Brian Won, and an idea started forming.

Since we don’t do Halloween” at the library, I thought we could still sneak in some dressing up and read books about hats!

I added some hats to a Pinterest board and allowed myself the delusion of thinking I could make all these hats this month. Then I cam to my senses and allowed myself a goal of four hats in addition to some other WIPs floating about.

Of course I am going for a Grover, to use when I read The Monster at the End of this Book.

Frankenstein’s monster because he is just so darn cute.

The one eyed Monsters as we are showing Monsters, Inc and it reminds me of Mike Wazowski

Cookie Monster because COOKIES!
