My guilty pleasures this week comes from music. First up is the Geico karaoke commercial. I love this commercial. Seriously. Plus Geico added the real deal about Ronald (I copied it and placed it below this post).
This commercial makes me giggle and it also makes me appreciate Effin’ Guy even more. If we weren’t together I may have to wade through BS like this looking for a date.
Thanks love!
Per Geico, Things you should know about Ronald:
Everybody says he has a friendly disposition, though this seems like a gross generalization.
Those same people love his spinach dip. I’d be willing to bet his spinach dip is store bought.
He’s 5’10”. But it’s really more like 5’8”. With shoes on.
He’s got blue eyes and a birthmark. Um, thanks for sharing?
He’s in to vintage comics, but he’s selling them to buy a new car. And by new he means, “my neighbor’s ten year old sedan that he agreed to give me a deal on.”
He’s writes in his blog at night. And sometimes at work. And sometimes before he goes to work. And sometimes when his thoughts are too long for Twitter.
He reenacts on the weekends. And he loves historical fiction. Hmm, I wonder why?
He’s crazy good with nunchucks. Actually, that I believe.
He graduated twelfth in his class (of 25 people).
He does the crossword in pen. And by “does the crossword” he means, “turns the crossword into weird little drawings.”
His sign is Sagittarius and he’s into Spanish cheese. He’s actually into French cheese, but he insists that it’s Spanish.
His hairline is receding but he’s getting a weave. No comment.
He likes his wings hot. But not too hot. More mild, really.
I have also been, shamelessly, replaying Muppet or a Man in the car. I’ll hold my own council about how listening to this song led me to think and reflect on the duality of existence as a mommy and a woman, blogger, black blogger and caused me to miss my turn over the weekend but will share that Jason Segal is growing on me.
As long as he keeps his clothes on.
What’s your guilty pleasures this week?
