He has been called the greatest chef in the United States. His restaurant, Le Bec-Fin, was one of the most renowned restaurants in the world for 42 years. Now, Georges Perrier will help guide the careers of young culinarians at Walnut Hill College.
As a Master in Residence, Georges Perrier will teach classes, host special dinners, and lead workshops for professional chefs at the nationally-acclaimed Walnut Hill College.
Since 1967, Le Bec-Fin and the cuisine of Georges Perrier captivated legions of celebrities, dignitaries, leaders, and lucky guests who experienced lifetime memories of true innovation and elegance.
On Tuesday, May 23rd, I had the opportunity to meet legendary chef Georges Perrier during a meet and greet to announce the news of his new position. With a menu of favorites from Le Bec Fin, fellow bloggers and local media were able to speak with Chef, taste a sample of food inspired by Le Bec-Fin and learn about the wonderful opportunities the College will be offering with their new Master in Residence.
During the meet and greet I had a chance to speak with Chef Perrier and he shared his excitement about working with the students.
Chef wants to share his expert and knowledge with the student and enjoys the passion of these young chefs. In face, during the meet and greet a student on break came over to meet Georges and get a picture with him!
